Channel Idents and Inserts

King Bee had the lovely brief of designing channel ident characters for BBC Persian for their first summer vacation block of children’s content. We produced these charming animated characters based on paisley shape characters in a paisley world. Following this project, BBC Persian asked us to make a new edition of our paisley-filled children’s news block sequences with 3 new transitions all themed with references to Persian New Year including gold fish, apples, garlic, coins, painted eggs, Persian olives, hiacynthes, sumac and sprouts. BBC Bedtime Stories- BBC Persian asked us to created an Intro and Outro sequence and 3D background for their BBC Bedtime Stories episodes taking inspiration from CBeebies Bedtime Stories. We mixed 2D animation with a 3D environment utilising the paisley characters we created for their children’s newsblock to expand on the brand. It was a joy bringing the head red paisley character into 3D.
