King Bee are proud to be working on an exciting movie about the Holocaust that uses the medium of 2D animation to express strong emotions in a very uniquely artistic way. The feature is based on the book ‘The Long Night’ by holocaust survivor Ernst Bornestein. We’re working with his visionary daughter Noemie Lopian, talented writer Estee Stimler and ex-Disney director Saul Blinkoff.
‘The Long Night’ animation is an exciting 90-minute theatrical, feature-length film adaptation based on the true story of Ernst Israel Bornstein, who survived seven concentration camps and several death marches as a teenager in the Second World War. His remarkable memoir illustrates how he endured the greatest hell, yet still emerged with hope in his heart. Like the story it is based on, ‘The Long Night’ animation extolls the virtue of imagination and hope in the face of insurmountable odds.
